International urban cycling challenge to kick off in Eindhoven, the Netherlands
Eindhoven, August 29, 2017 - Craft beer for cyclists à BLOC and Katusha organise the first of the Car Park Cannon Ball events on Saturday, September 23rd in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
The Car Park Cannon Ball series is a new and out-of-the-ordinary cycling experience. Riders will be racing their bicycles up all levels of a carpark, ending at a party with live DJ, craft beer and street food, once they’ve crossed the finish line.
The first Car Park Cannon Ball will be organized on Saturday 23 September in carpark "P0" of High Tech Campus Eindhoven in The Netherlands. High Tech Campus Eindhoven is renowned for innovation, design and creativity. An international crowd 10,000 highly skilled people congregates here daily, making it the perfect environment to start this urban cycling event. In addition, the region has many cycling enthusiasts.
Participants will be racing in different categories: geared and fixed gear, men and women. Shoot-outs determine the Car Park Cannon Ball Kings and Queens. Registrations are open to all through www.carparkcannonball.cc.
The Eindhoven edition is the first of a global series, followed this year by Maastricht on 21 October at MECC Carpark during Euro Cycle XP and Christchurch, New Zealand on 26 November. For next year, additional editions are planned in Amsterdam, Brussels, Australia, England and Spain.
